Top Six - July 17

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have places to go and people to see later. So there.
6 Leadsom - The Curse Of Mensch Tory leadership hopeful Andrea Leadsom secured the all too vocal support of Louise Mensch. There could only be one outcome - defeat.

5 Don’t Menshn Jeremy Hunt The former Culture Secretary was going to leave the Department of Health, and then he wasn’t. But in the meantime, Louise Mensch had callously abused a father waiting at an NHS hospital with his son for a delayed operation. Real class.

4 Murdoch Poisons TalkSport No sooner had NewsCorp taken over the Wireless Group than its main component, TalkSport, had seen one presenter sacked and another resign.

3 Nice Attack - Enter The Sickos Following the mass killing on Nice’s Promenade des Anglais, the Sun was quick to put out “graphic content” in defiance of the Police Nationale, and wacko actress Frances Barber used the tragedy to demand the resignation of Jeremy Corbyn. Seriously.

2 Andrea Leadsom - More CV Woe An investment manager? She had in fact been a part-time administrator. Probably best for all concerned when she ended her campaign for the Tory leadership.

1 Sun Gazza Obsession Is Out Of Order The Murdoch doggies tailing a sick man in order to exploit him and flog a few more papers was inexcusable. Well, for most people.

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
