Guido Fawked - Racism Hypocrisy

The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog like to claim that they are not a party political outfit, despite Staines having gone on record to say that his preferred Government is one run by The Blue Team. But then, that is as reliable a claim as the assertion that the Fawkes massive is not part of the Press Establishment, when they are at the beck and call of the Murdoch mafiosi.
There was, though, as Captain Blackadder might have observed, only one thing wrong with the idea that The Great Guido was politically impartial: it was bollocks. The Fawkes blog relentlessly shills for the Tories, while kicking Labour. And the latest example of this blatant bias came yesterday, not by them posting anything, but through their silence. The subject, a Fawkes favourite, was racism, on which they are supposed to be hot.

Such is the Fawkes rabble’s keenness to call “racist” on others that they made this the centrepiece of their recent vicious - and ultimately unsuccessful - attack on Kensington’s Labour MP Emma Dent Coad. As Zelo Street observed at the time, Staines’ newly anointed teaboy Alex “Billy Liar” Wickham went in on Ms Dent Coad with both feet, making accusations of racism, despite not having proved any racism. Still, details, eh?
Emma Dent Coad

The attacks on the Kensington MP continued the following day, with a blatant attempt made to link her to Sheffield Hallam victor Jared O’Mara and the clear inference that she should go, because The Great Guido was going to get her. Everything in Ms Dent Coad’s blog was pored over, and the story, such as it was, even got to be discussed on Daily Politics, to the shame of the BBC, who should have seen it coming.
Ivan Lewis

And don’t start on the claims of anti-Semitism, where the Fawkes massive have been kicking Labour, and indeed the Lib Dems, at every opportunity, even catching the odd Twitter excursion that was later deleted. So what happened when a Jewish Labour MP was on the wrong end of that? As if you need to ask: The Great Guido was not even there to provide crickets. Because a Tory was doing the smearing.

Ivan Lewis, who represents Bury South, has been suspended from the Labour Party. As the BBC has reported, Lewis “has been suspended by the party over accusations of sexual harassment … The Bury South MP was already under investigation by the party because of allegations of inappropriate behaviour”.
Greg Hands

Tory MP Greg Hands sneered “Tough action by Labour leadership against Jewish Blairite Ivan Lewis - but just a ‘chat’ for hate-filled ‘Ghetto Boy’ rhetoric of Kensington Corbynista Emma Dent Coad”. As Politics Home observed, “Mr Hands' intervention was surprising because it is highly unusual for an MP, let alone a minister, to comment on disciplinary matters in another party”. Hands later deleted the Tweet.

Oh dear

So what did the Fawkes rabble do? Borderline anti-Semitic remark, and from not just a mere back bencher, but a Government minister? Simples. The Great Guido did nothing. Not a sausage. Zero. Zilch. Nil. Nada. Bugger all. Because the Fawkes massive slavishly backs the Tories, and their press masters want it to stay that way.

Can you smell hypocrisy among the Fawkes paycheques? Another fine mess.

Put the words "tory MP" and "Jew" next to each other and you can virtually guarantee what comes next.

And the outcome is never, ever, pleasant.

When it comes to the subject of anti-semitism the tories, like their US pals, are nothing less than medieval. Some of them really would have slotted into the Third Reich without so much as a blink.
