Here are more views from Manchester, taken earlier today, as the cleanup continues and the city centre gets back to business.

The shop where it really kicked off: Miss Selfridge, opposite the west side of the Arndale Centre, still closed and showing significant fire damage. There was still a burning smell.

What? Yes, even betting shops got trashed: this Ladbroke’s is opposite Piccadilly Gardens bus station.

The damage to this Maplin Electronics store opposite the BBC on Oxford Road might have been thought to be coincidental ...

... except the Greggs next door but one also got hit. A Greggs? A Greggs.

And here is one very popular and very busy bloke. He’s still got plenty of fetching and carrying to do.
