Just in case anybody out there doubted the veracity of Olbermann’s dictum (“the right exists in a perpetual state of victimhood”), James “saviour of Western civilisation” Delingpole has come riding to the rescue with a magnificent piece of particularly rank hypocrisy, as he pretends that those opposed to his stance on climate change are The Bad Guys.
Del Boy is particularly taxed by the assertion (made in an Express piece, which by definition is likely to be of dubious provenance, but hey ho, when you’re that desperate, you’ll go with “Dirty” Des) that a poster to the BBC website said of his hero Nigel Lawson “Why isn’t he dead yet?”, which is of routine nastiness, but otherwise the kind of stuff that happens on popular sites.
This, though, does not deter Delingpole, who seizes on the comment and uses it to suggest that anyone he paints as climate change “alarmists” is engaging “in ad homs [and] appeals to authority”. No example of the latter is cited. And there is one problem with Del Boy’s stance: he is the go-to source of the most vicious personal abuse, examples of which are not hard to find.
A favourite form of Delingpole attack is to associate his target with the Third Reich, and here there are two prongs to the assault. The first is exemplified by his headline “Why do I call them Eco Nazis? Because they ARE Eco Nazis”, where he asserts that Heinrich Himmler was some kind of inspiration for the Green movement. Sadly, his source, Mark Musser, is known for this kind of thing (see HERE).
The second arm of the Del Boy pincer movement is the Holocaust smear, which he projects on the Guardian’s Comment is Free (CiF). This title he amends to read “Komment Macht Frei”, in impersonation of the motto used by the Nazis at the entrance to death camps such as Auschwitz-Birkenau. No doubt this is merely some kind of hilarious joke and anyone offended does not have a sense of humour.
On top of these less than pleasant forms of abuse, Delingpole freely dispenses derivatives of the word “retard”, a term that needs no explanation, and whose use has no justification. This does not deter Del Boy, who can be seen HERE using “libtard” and “ecotard” in the same rant, where he is generally abusive towards anyone he perceives as “liberal”.
But on one point, Del Boy is right when he tells of “Google ‘James Delingpole [four letter word beginning with C]’ and you get the gist”. Googling “James Delingpole crap” yields 229,000 results, which tells you all you need to know about this sad nonentity and his propensity to wallow in victimhood. The Del Boy glasshouse must be one draughty place right now.
Ah, the sickening stench of hypocrisy.

It's pretty standard that if Delingpole or his scat monkeys make a joke it's a joke and if you make a joke it's deadly serious, any smileys you may add to make it look like a joke are cruelly mocking.
Delingpole hides behind what is known as a "Troll Blog," - a blog in which a natural-born, ethics-free troll can freely engage in ad-hominems, false claims, and outright lies against climate scientists et al without having to actually troll other sites.
It's very much analogous to how Joe McCarthy used the Senate.
