So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have some pruning (seriously) to do later. So there.

6 Gibraltar – More Selective Reporting The real fallout from that “artificial reef” was revealed – but not in most of the UK press (no surprise there). And there was worse to come.

5 Mail EasyJet No Shock Horror An incident just after a flight took off, handled calmly, and a safe landing, with passengers on their way on another aircraft within three hours was transformed by the Mail into a real frightener (again).

4 CPS And BBC Bias – The Report The Centre for Policy Studies finally released its supposedly authoritative report confirming left-wing bias at the Beeb. It didn’t: it was just another piece of research designed to fit the conclusion. Here’s why it fell apart and no-one who matters will be interested.

3 Gibraltar – What They’re Not Telling You Second week in the Top Six for this post. The UK press has managed to miss one or two items concerning the current dispute between Gibraltar and Spain. Perhaps this is mere coincidence, but probably not.

2 Ryanair – What Dispatches Didn’t Tell You The Channel 4 Dispatches on the Millwall of air carriers (no-one likes us, we don’t care) was notable not for what it did show, but for what it did not. There are several worrying and avoidable incidents here for you to consider.

1 BBC Bias Claim Falls Flat The Centre for Policy Studies claimed to have unearthed compelling evidence of left-wing bias at the BBC. But the flaws were rather obvious. Even the sneak preview showed that this was a real turkey.
