Making sure you have travel insurance, especially in the skiing season, is a must – but where do you go for the best deal? Well, one carrier is boasting that their offering is best – our old friends at Ryanair, the Millwall of air carriers (everybody hates us and we don’t care).
In a press release yesterday, a price comparison survey in the Sunday Business Post was quoted, telling that one adult on a one week ski holiday would pay just fourteen and a half Euro for cover. Point Ryanair, no?
No indeed: when I went to the carrier’s website and got a quote, for one person on a week’s break including winter sports, the figure given was four Euro more than in survey and press release. Actually, for a UK resident, the figure was another 20 Cents more, so 29% higher than the number trumpeted by Ryanair.
So that’ll be another in the “hidden extras” category, then.
