Worse, the fear among many Tories is that this will cede second place in the popular vote to Reform UK and their self-proclaimed OberscheissenfĂĽhrer Nigel “Thirsty” Farage. So, in this moment of desperation, who would step forward to steady the ship, hopefully without making things worse?
Sadly for the Tories, that person was disgraced former alleged Prime Minister Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, and worse still, the conduit for Bozo’s latest stream of consciousness rant was the Daily Mail, ruled over by its editor in chief, the legendarily foul mouthed Paul Dacre. It was under Dacre’s editorship that the Mail launched its viciously anti-Semitic attack on the memory of Ralph Miliband, as a means of hobbling his son Ed.
This matters, as can be seen by the headline: “Sir Keir Schnorrer plans to slink into No10 as silently as Larry the cat - then lock us back in to the dungeon of Brussels, like a ball-chewing gimp”. ITV political editor Robert Peston heard the dog-whistle long and loud, and liked it not at all.
“Boris Johnson today calls Starmer ‘Sir Keir Schnorrer’ (see attached). ‘Schnorrer’ is the Yiddish word for beggar and scrounger. It is pretty offensive. It was part of the lingua franca of my grandparents and of my childhood. I find it unsettling to see Johnson appropriating it to describe someone whose wife is Jewish - and especially when he says ‘if Schnorrer gets in, he will immediately begin the process of robbing this country of its new-found independence and make the UK the punk of the EU’”.
What the f*** have I got to do with this, c***?!?!?
As one letter to the Guardian noted, the book “describes ‘Jewish oligarchs’ who run the media, and fiddle the figures to fix elections in their favour … He portrays a Jewish character, Sammy Katz, with a ‘proud nose and curly hair’, and paints him as a malevolent, stingy, snake-like Jewish businessman who exploits immigrant workers for profit”. There was more on The Great Man.
“As editor of the Spectator he chose to publish articles in which the notorious racist Taki Theodoracopulos boasted of being ‘an antisemite’, argued black people ‘have lower IQs than whites’ and praised Enoch Powell as a ‘great man'. Johnson defended Theodoracopulos, calling him a ‘distinguished columnist’”. Put that alongside Dacre’s past form, and look what you get.
Had Bozo just used a derivative of the word “snore”, to suggest Starmer was boring, there would have been no grounds for Peston, or anyone else, to feel uncomfortable about the headline. Although Bozo and the Mail could still be in hot water over the obviously BDSM use of the word “gimp” (including the word “dungeon” in the headline makes that one difficult to defend).
Even if action is taken, the Mail will take some shifting to remove the reference. What is worse is that we are still almost four weeks out from the poll - the derogatory content is only going to go in one direction. The problem the Mail has is not lawsuits, though, but the fact that their star columnist Bozo is damaged goods. He resigned in disgrace. Even the Tories wanted him out.
The Mail may have given up on Sunak. But they still want to hobble Labour.

The UK might not be "the punk of the EU".
But it's certainly the catamite of the USA.
The more that fat, over-indulged, Bullingdon posh boy Johnson affects the language of American low-life movie culture, the more laughably tin-eared and ridiculous he appears.
Indeed. Then again, Mail readers probably consider Pulp Fiction (1994, and where the gimp and ball gag entered popular culture as far as most people are concerned) the most shocking and cutting edge thing ever.
Peston?
The far right "journalist" meff who wrote "... on the whole, greed is good..." in the book Who Runs Britain? (Hodder & Stoughton, 2008), page 336?
That one?
Doubtless to the approval of red tory Quisling banker Reeves. The one who's going to help her employers further loot the economy. All thieves together.
Meanwhile, the Israel mass murder genocide machine rumbles on. Corporate media cowards dismiss continuing massacres of innocents. And Starmer/Reeves cower behind their paymasters.

Never mind Bozo.
BBC "News" reports the blue tories want "to end 'sick note culture' ", while red tories "pledge 20,000 more prison places".
That'll keep the far right, curtain-twitching, Daily Heil and Scum-reading Alf Garnetts in flagshagging hysteria in the M25 ghetto.
It's what blue, red and yellow tories are for.
'Ere, wot's orl vis abaht gud owld Boris.

Still painfully unentertaining, 'CTD'.
Rather than trying to amuse us by your writing, have you considered a career as an Uber driver instead? I hear they're recrcruiting.
That photo of Bozo. Put it next to the Trump mug shot and you're on a winner.
Reading about the European elections today must be very confusing for some regular correspondents.
Does 'the far right sweeping the board' mean that Starmerism has spread throughout Europe via Alternativ fur Deutschland, Rassemblement National, the Austrian Freedom Party, Geert Wilders' Islamophobic mob and Ms Meloni's neo-fascists?
Will it be triples all round in the bars frequented by the 'far right' journalistic meffocracy of the Graun, the BBC, Sky and Channel 4 News as they celebrate the ascendancy of their 'far right' comrades across the Channel? Is Polly Toynbee doing a little triumphalist goose-step as we speak?
Is it now simply that 'everyone is far right; but some are more far right than others'?
Or should we just accept that, for some, words no longer need to have any kind of generally shared meaning at all?
All of the above, crass, gruesome and very tiresome.
The hyperbole is not restricted to this little backwater alas. The hysteria among the press even in these clickbaity times was something to behold. To read the headlines, across the board, but worse in the American press, the far right stormed (trooped?) to victory in the Euro elections, seizing the majority and becoming kingmaker all in one go.
Except of course, they didn't. They actually won just nine more seats taking them.to 67. Yes, even one far right map is too many, but if people are daft enough to vote for them, well, let them foot the eventual bill. Of lesser importance, apart from a few saner outlets, the centre right actually remained the largest bloc, and even the socialists did better than the (very) modest forecasts for them.
So why all the hysteria? The EU executive was already watering down green initiatives, economic policies won't change, and the far right lacks the clout to force through the pro business, anti unions, anti LGBT agenda it promotes in their host countries.
So, it's likely to be business as usual. The predicted landslide never happened, they can only hope to water down some policies not all, and rather disturbingly, as was pointed out, the bloc they are in was set up by, erm, one David Cameron. Twat he may be, far right he is not.
It then boils down to one thing - hysteria sells newspapers and gets clicks.
The only real consequence was that fool Macron knee jerking. Did he not read history at school?
Far right Newspeak is all that matters because it's the only verbiage on offer from tories blue, red and yellow. How prescient was Orwell.
Britain has learned to love tory Big Brother. Hence the far right racist tory shithole.
Typos my own

As with any text, Orwell’s work requires intelligent and considered interpretation, not a clumsy and dim-witted grabbing of his words to use as bludgeoning sloganeering.
His one call above all was that a lack of respect for language leads to a coarsening of thought and a deadening of intellect.

Thing is, if Quisling "Labour" get the massive majority forecast by some..... Starmer/Reeves can't say they don't have a mandate to reverse far right thievery and mass murder warmongering since 1979. But they will of course.
Could get hilarious if, despite the seats margin, they only get the same vote share as 2019. Watching "No emotional space" Starmer Quiff-and-Glasses squirm his weasel way out of that would be the funniest sight since Genocide Joe shit in his pants on camera a few days ago.
14:56.
Yeah. Like "a player less than saintliness" for a Zionist-without-qualification who supports mass murder genocide.
The internet never forgets....
I'm some polls their vote share is already predicted to be less than Corbyn achieved against May
