Farage Russia Denial FALLS FLAT

The boy who cried wolf once too often eventually grew up - well, sort of - and after an indifferent career in the City, went into politics and didn’t do very well there, either. This career trajectory more or less describes former UKIP Oberscheissenführer Nigel “Thirsty” Farage, whose abysmal track record of talking well, but lying badly, has just returned to bite back as he struggles to counter the latest accusation against him.
Squeaky non-denial finger up the bum time

Showing the less than total adoration felt by many of his fellow MEPs, some of whom actually stay at the European Parliament and do a full day’s work after signing in and getting their allowances, the EP’s Brexit coordinator Guy Verhofstadt took aim at Mr Thirsty and made a straightforward accusation against The Great Man.
Europe has a fifth column in its ranks: Putin's cheerleaders who want to destroy Europe & liberal democracy from within: Le Pen, Wilders, Farage, Orbàn, Kaczynski, Salvini use Kremlin money & intel. Like Farage's friend Arron Banks, who colluded with Russians to deliver #Brexit” he told. Nige wasn’t going to take that lying down.
So he propped himself up and riposted “This is a baseless lie. I have never received any Russian financial or political support. I suggest you withdraw”. That’s a most forceful rebuttal. The problem is that Nige has a habit of making denials that turn out not to be worth the hot air that delivered them in the first place.
Like, oh I dunno, what about the incident described by one Tweeter “‘I've never, ever been to the Russian Embassy’ - @Nigel_Farage … PRESS RELEASE, May 2013: ‘Ambassador of the Russian Federation Alexander Yakovenko met the Leader of the UK Independence Party Mr Nigel Farage…’”. And there was more in the same vein.
Nigel Farage repeatedly said on his @LBC radio show last night ‘I've not met the Russian Ambassador’ ... will @LBC sack their notorious liar presenter?” He hadn’t been to the Russian embassy or met the Ambassador - or rather, he had. And one Zelo Street source has a few questions to ask on the subject of Mr Thirsty and his recent past. On the content of these I make no comment. They are as follows:
Did he have a nicer time in Moscow in December 2014, or May 2015?

Was RT still paying him £2,000 a pop in 2018, just like in 2010, or did they adjust the payments for inflation?

Was he meeting the Russian Embassy’s Oleg Shron every week just for Guinness?

Was Ambassador Yakovenko at UKIP conference starting in 2013 for Guinness too, because he couldn’t find it in London?

Did his love of Putin start after he started getting the money, or was it a lifelong thing?

I’m sure that, as Nige is so adamant that he never received any Russian support, these scurrilous suggestions can soon be shown to be baseless. Or something like that.

And what if the answer to those five questions is "Yes"?

What then?

Mr Thirsty is desperate man, Brexit is becoming the biggest crisis in British politcal life since WW2, the lies told by The Brexiteers are being rumbled on a daily basis.
Its time Farage was pulled in by Damian Collins or Hillary Benn to shine the spotlight on Thirsty's imaginary world of Brexit success.

Show us the evidence where Farage says or writes that he's never met ambassador or been to the embassy ?

Where was that photo taken with Nige and Aleksander?

How come Thirsty hasn't been questioned over his fly fishing expedition on The Thames in March?
