So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging?
Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days,
counting down in reverse order, because, well, I’m travelling (hopefully) later.
So there.

Savile Pursuit Turns Desperate The press are running out of new stories
about the activities of Jimmy Savile. So they’re starting to make it up. And
not very much of it makes sense after applying a little thought.
5
Littlejohn – More Racism And Dishonesty Exactly what it says on the
tin. Dicky Windbag is hot on the case of criminals with foreign sounding names,
while inventing crime figures to frighten the readers. You couldn’t make it up.
4
Leveson Is Served (20) The legendarily foul mouthed Paul Dacre directed
his hacks to kick the Leveson Inquiry. What he wasn’t saying was why: thanks to
Private Eye, we know, and it’s all
laid out here.
3
Guido Fawked – Tax Avoidance Hypocrisy The perpetually thirsty Paul
Staines and his tame gofer, the odious flannelled fool Henry Cole, were in full
cry calling out others for tax avoidance. They were doing so from the ruins of
a very draughty glasshouse, and here’s why.
2
Jimmy Savile And Press Hypocrisy They’re in full cry now, but the
excuse that Savile would have sued doesn’t explain all the fawning obituaries
and the total silence – until a broadcaster, working under regulation
underpinned by statutory framework, blew the whistle. That’s because they don’t
care about the victims – this is all about kicking the BBC, and later on, the
NHS.
1 Huhne And
The Judge The trial of Chris Huhne and ex-wife Vicky Pryce on charges
relating to That Speeding Penalty was suddenly adjourned. Then a prosecution
witness was arrested, but no details of any charge were given. Very few people
therefore joined the dots. But we did.
And that’s the end of
another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not
‘arf!
