Top Six - March 19

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have food prep stuff to do later. So there.
6 Katie Hopkins NOT Appealing The pro-am motormouth claimed she would take her libel defeat against writer and campaigner Jack Monroe to appeal. No she wouldn’t.

5 Scotland - She Wasn’t Bluffing All those hacks and pundits who claimed that Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon would not demand a second independence referendum were left covered in rather more than confusion - when she did just that.

4 Tory Expense Scandal - Screw Turns Their MPs are panicking, 12 Police forces have sent files to the CPS, we know of at least £275,000 not declared from the 2015 campaign, and then there is the connection to the bullying scandal.

3 Allison Pearson - Off With Her Head The Telegraph’s anti-Scottish rant generated a headline that was too much, even for her own paper.

2 Dacre Sues Byline The Daily Mail’s legendarily foul mouthed editor, supposedly a champion of free speech, is now taking legal action to, er, suppress free speech. You couldn’t make it up - but you can contribute to the fighting fund.

1 Katie Hopkins Defames Again The pro-am motormouth smeared a legitimate website taking donations for food banks as fraudulent. This was untrue and defamatory. Some people indeed never learn.

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
