New Technology Baffles Breitbart London

There are signs that the workload of the batshit collective otherwise known as Breitbart London is taking its toll on the inmates, and also that their audience may not be as large as backers or advertisers would expect. This was brought into sharp focus when the politically like-minded Donal Blaney, CEO of the Young Britons’ Foundation (YBF), plugged his latest venture.
"Technological illiteracy"? Is that Belgian? If it is, I'll need a special poncy glass to drink it. You're buying, aren't you? You do know who I am?

The YBF head man, apart from that and his legal practice in Kent, is also CEO of the Margaret Thatcher Centre, the concept being modelled on the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. “We cannot let the history of the 1980s and the life of Margaret Thatcher be written by her detractors” warns Blaney, keenly aware of the value of getting your propaganda in first.
"Technological illiteracy"? Can I put my patented air quotes round it, like "Gay Marriage" and "Global Warming"?

And it’s an ambitious undertaking: “The Margaret Thatcher Centre, temporarily based in London but eventually to be housed in a purpose-built facility in Cambridge close to the Churchill College archives that house her papers, began its public fundraising after Lady Thatcher’s funeral last April” Blaney explains. Sadly, his appeal has been marred so badly as to reduce it to a laughing stock.
Not just one word-mangling foul-up ...

This, however, does not appear to be through any fault on his part, as what he intended to say has been mangled in the retelling. His piece opens “Today we mark the first anniversary of the death of Margaret Thatcher, Britain's greatest peacetime leader of the 20th Minister. This year also sees the 10th ally, Ronald Reagan”. Oh deep folly, snarly-up wordyprocess in the articole!
... no, there are two of them!

It gets worse: the eleventh paragraph, where Blaney pitches the numbers, also got scrambled. “Our two-stage goal - $8m to launch a series of international and domestic educational programmes and then $40m to endow the exhibit galleries – has century and the nation's first female Prime anniversary of the death of her great friend and attracted support in Britain and America”.

One can only conclude that the myriad specialisms of Raheem “call me Ray” Kassam and James “saviour of Western civilisation” Delingpole do not include knowing one end of IT from the other. Or perhaps A Big Boy Did It And Ran Away. Or maybe Breitbart London was visited by the ghost of Stanley Unwin. Appealy charitole folloped in the publish sitey weblode!

And what is worse is that the howlers are still there as at 1100 hours today. From experience, when grammar and detail howlers slip through onto Zelo Street, they tend to get picked up very soon afterwards. Blaney’s article has been there well over half a day, so either very few actually bothered to read the piece, or the batshit Breitbarts can’t be arsed correcting it.

What was that about honouring Thatcher’s memory? What a complete shower.
