6 Littlejohn Redefines Welfare The Daily Mail’s talentless and unfunny churnalist told his readers that no disabled people were suffering benefit cuts, and that pensions were not part of the welfare bill.

5 Keogh Reports While Others Spin The fact of the Keogh Review did not match the horror stories spun by the Telegraph, Mail and Sun. But that didn’t stop the crude politicisation by the Tories.

4 Katie Hopkins – The Media’s Problem The tabloids continued to scream about the unsubtle antics of the former Apprentice contestant. Why? She’s their creation, and so she’s their problem.

3 Daily Mail Suckered By Bigots The obedient hackery of the legendarily foul mouthed Paul Dacre is always on the lookout for Muslim bashing material. And with the story of a 10 year old being allegedly denied a drink of water because his class mates were fasting as part of Ramadan, they had a prime opportunity. But the boy’s mother was a Football Casuals supporter, and the rest didn’t add up, either.

2 Littlejohn BBC Fishing Rant Dicky Windbag was most unhappy – the hated BBC had interviewed someone on the Today programme, and kept their identity secret. Then the Mail couldn’t find her. So off went Littlejohn, fishing to try and narrow down the search while his boss got a PI on the case.

1 Is It Time To Sack Toby Young? The loathsome pundit asked if it was time to sack Culture Secretary Maria Miller – having come rather late to this one – but then got his Wimbledon winners and runners-up mixed up. If he can’t differentiate between Marion Bartoli and Sabine Lisicki, what is the point of Toby Young?
