For those not happy with the reporting of wall to wall sunshine in Lisbon, I have to also note that this was accompanied yesterday by a pretty stiff northerly breeze, so out in open country it was rather less warm. But it’s still a substantial improvement on cloud and rain.
And back in the UK, it’s also sunny, so a pleasant welcome home. The journey went reasonably well, there were no strikes this time, and the only thing now left to do is to sift through the past week’s post. There’s an awful lot of the stuff, but it looks as if much will go straight into the circular file, being election guff from the so-called minor parties.
