Most people will have by now noticed that the US Presidential Election has not yet been definitively called, with Combover Crybaby Donald Trump claiming victory, but many news outlets in turn being wise to his antics. Meanwhile, Democrat challenger Joe Biden is only claiming he is “
on the path to victory”, as the last nine or ten states are called.
Along with every right-wing voice still prepared to humour him - from disgraced former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani to Breitbart and the Daily Caller to the “
opinion” hosts at Fox News Channel (fair and balanced
my arse) - Trump is telling anyone who will listen that the Democrats are trying to steal the election, and that there has been vote fraud.
In this, he has a willing accomplice in Brexit Party
Oberscheissenführer Nigel “
Thirsty” Farage, who yesterday stood and posed for a photo with the Capitol as his backdrop, and brandished a piece of paper revealing that he had put £10,000 on Trump to win. “
The first polls are closing and I am absolutely optimistic” he blustered, later adding “
Trump is now odds on to win in the betting markets. The pollsters could be wrong again”.
The problem here is that mail-in ballots appear to have swung a number of races in Biden’s favour, including the Rust Belt states of Wisconsin and Michigan. And mail-in ballots could also swing Nevada to the Democrats, with Trump’s overnight advantage of 700,000 votes in Pennsylvania already down to 560,000 with a lot more of those mail-in ballots still to be counted. So Farage was deployed to both brown nose - and lie.
So it was
that he appeared on the BBC’s coverage before the inquisition of Andrew Neil, who may be right-leaning, but enjoys skewering fraudulent politicians more. “
So what is the evidence of voter fraud?” asked Brillo, having the advantage of knowing the answer.
Or rather, that should have read “correct answer”. Because back came Mr Thirsty: “
Oh, the evidence of voter fraud with postal voting, of course, is there for all to see. We know it ourselves on our side of the pond”. Brillo declined to add that one to his basket. “
No, where is the evidence from the United States of fraud of postal votes?”
Come on Nige, let’s have a bit of the old wit, then. “
Because it’s so new, it hasn’t come to light yet”. So there was no fraud? “
There is no evidence of fraud at this stage”. He was clearly arguing in his spare time. And that wasn’t the only time his pants caught light.
Farage
also appeared on ITV
Good Morning Britain, where Piers Morgan played The Great Man a clip of Trump talking about injecting disinfectant as a means of “
knocking out” Covid-19. Farage had denied that this had happened. “
Sorry Nigel, have I made that up?” asked Morgan. “
Yes” replied Farage. “
We just saw the clip” protested co-host Susanna Reid. Farage was incandescent. “
You are sinking to the gutter by talking about bleach”.
As Morgan pointed out to him - more than once - Disinfectant and bleach are pretty much the same thing. But that was not the point: Farage was there, not only to hold on to the prospect of collecting his winnings, but also to defend his hero Trump.
Right now, sadly, it looks like he won’t be succeeding on either front.
Sad, really.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your losses, Nigel!
The return of the duplicitous weasel face fuckwit .... go drink some bleach nige ... you might turn orange ....
ReplyDeleteIt's scary that he speaks for 17.4m UK voters.
ReplyDelete17.4 million as of 23/06/16. Current numbers unknown, probably fewer.
DeleteLittle nigels anti lockdown sock puppet freedom party ... dickie tyce and Isobel horseshit to the fore ... tally ho
ReplyDeleteHe didn't say bleach!!!!!! He said disinfectant!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty weak argument. Bleaches are always disinfectant because of the abundance of radical oxygen (this is what makes bleach bleach things and also kills microbes, and you if you drink a strong enough solution)
DeleteNot all disinfectants are bleach though, there are many types.
Tl;dr peroxide kills germs but you can't lighten your hair with Dettol.
Is there any truth to the rumour I've just started that Trump thought Frommage was the 'king of Europe' because the latter looks like an inbred chinless fuckwit?
ReplyDeleteIt's Trump's Chihuahua!

ReplyDeleteWhat will Trumpanzees Katie Plopkins and Frogface Farage do when Trump gets the boot from the Whitehouse? I guess they will start grovelling to Putin.
I bet he's making the bet up.
ReplyDelete“No, where is the evidence from the United States of fraud of postal votes?”
ReplyDeleteShould've stopped at 'United States of fraud'
I'm using that from now on.
