But pull that smear he did:as the Guardian has reported, “Today, with no relevance at all to the question in hand, Johnson launched into a diatribe about Starmer being anti-Brexit and on the side of ‘an IRA-condoning politician’ (ie, Jeremy Corbyn - who would contest the claim he condoned terrorism)”. Both Starmer and Corbyn did more to assist the peace process in Northern Ireland than Bozo ever will. And there was more.
“There were at least three new factors in play today that should be concerning for Tory MPs … First, Johnson doesn’t seem to even be trying to get better … Second, Starmer is getting even more confident and authoritative … third, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, the Speaker, seems to have finally lost patience with Johnson too”. It’ll be the Tory Party next.
In any case, if anyone in the Commons should reflect on their endorsement of terrorist sympathisers, it is Bozo himself. For starters, he has put in train the process of ennobling Claire Fox, who was so in favour of the Armed Struggle that she was even prepared to refuse giving Colin Parry, who lost his son in the Warrington bombing (which Ms Fox endorsed), an apology. Also, Ms Fox is a denier of the Bosnian genocide.
The potential for smuggling, with the Irish republic remaining an EU member state, is in the realm of the bleeding obvious. Of course, that could be addressed by putting border checks back between Northern Ireland and the Republic - which would turn back the clock to the Bad Old Days. Yet, once again, it is all someone else’s fault.
No doubt the usual suspects in the press, led by reality deniers like the odious Quentin Letts (let’s not), will ignore Bozo’s deficiencies or claim he won anyway. But it is becoming glaringly obvious that we have a Prime Minister in name only.
The Boris Johnson project has begun to unravel big time. Just rejoice at that news.

It was like watching a lion tear down a water buffalo...vry slowly.
ReplyDeleteLike a night with Mrs A some would say.
The way in which Johnson mumbled, stumbled and rambled, I wondered if he has developed early signs of dementia
ReplyDeletePMQs is largely a waste of time. Virtually nothing to do with genuine democracy and good governance, more a soap opera of cheap jibes and phony "debate". A tenth rate House of Cards event staged by spivs propping up a visibly decaying one party state. A script of mediocrity and corruption learned by rote, delivered by lousy ham actors.
ReplyDeleteBozo? A dickhead. Starmer? A slimeball.
Altogether a system unfit for purpose.
Maybe it's all we deserve.
He's in trouble.

Rattled and nervy – this is a new Boris and it is NOT a good look, says PAUL BALDWIN

Boris Johnson has got to raise his game for PMQs. This was a total shambles
Mail.
Boris Johnson has lost a few belt notches... and his oomph: HENRY DEEDES watches the poorly prepared Prime Minister in action at the first PMQs after summer recess
For all de piffle's gobshitery, I noted that stammer was busy being self-congratulatory about how, as DPP, he prosecuted terrorists in N.Ireland.
ReplyDeleteStrange, though, how he's not so keen as to let us all know he let TWO prominent toerags off the hook (damien grope...I mean green & michael green...sorry, seb fox....D'oh! I meant grant 'spiv' shapps) Even though the met told us shapps' *ahem* 'dealings' may have constituted fraud. (stammer resigned as DPP that very same day)
As for grope...green (sorry, force of habit) stammer refused to prosecute him for leaking govt files; but strangely enough has been one of the main protagonists of the Assange persecution.
A plague on both their houses.
