Farage No Deal Brexit Plot RUMBLED

Those out there on the far right have a problem when it comes to covering their tracks: they tend to operate at a remarkably low level of intellectual capacity, and so they do not. This was illustrated superbly earlier today as a plot to have another EU member state vote down an application for the UK to extend the Article 50 process - total unanimity is needed - was exposed. And as I type, the evidence is still there for all to see.
Squeaky bang to rights finger up the bum time
Carole Cadwalladr - caught the far right plotting. Again

Someone in that circle of friends that includes former UKIP Oberscheissenführer Nigel “Thirsty” Farage had clearly noticed that some on the right of the Tory Party had been attempting to lobby Poland’s ruling party in order to get that country to slip the black ball into the bag when the vote comes. Who, then, could those even further out to the right persuade to do likewise? Farage and his pals let that slip this morning.
Here’s the sequence of events. First, Farage tells “Have just come out of a meeting with Barnier and he is scared of a no deal WTO Brexit. There is also huge pressure on Mrs May, if she demands an extension, to give a firm reason why. There will be no blank cheque for it [an Article 50 extension]. I’ll be speaking in the European Parliament shortly”.
Second, Michael Heaver observes “Nigel Farage just urged the European Council to veto an Article 50 extension (requires unanimous agreement). Otherwise he’ll be back in the European Parliament with ‘hordes’ of Brexit MEPs”. Nige wants them to know that if they don’t do what he wants, he’ll bring the boys round, know what I mean?
Third, after Mr Thirsty speaks, Andy Wigmore chirps up “Time for @matteosalvinimi to help us and veto an extension to A50 … Italy can be hero’s [sic] to the … 17.4 million who voted to leave @LeaveEUOfficial @Nigel_Farage”. The far right has considerable leverage in Italy: Salvini may be a mere deputy Prime Minister, but PM Guiseppe Conte is effectively a mere figurehead. So the plot was now in plain sight.
So Four, Carole Cadwalladr of the Observer notices this and concludes with some directness “Last week @arron_banks & @andywigmore went to Veneto, the heartland of Italy's Lega Nord. Today, the plan is revealed. The fascists have agreed to help Britain exit without a deal. Salvini will block an extension of article 50. We're fucked”.
And just in case anyone is unsure of the Lega Nord’s stance on matters EU, she added “Who's the Lega Nord, you're wondering? Oh, just Putin's partners in Europe. No biggie”. From this point, Wiggy and his pal Banksy did their usual party piece, heaping abuse on Ms Cadwalladr because she had once more caught them out.
Those observing the exchanges were in no doubt as to what Farage and his pals were up to, typical being the reaction from LBC host James O’Brien. “Q: What’s the most hypocritical, morally corrupt & contemptuous thing Farage could do next? … A: Easy. Beg ‘foreign’ politicians to frustrate the democratic will of the United Kingdom’s sovereign Parliament”. Farage, Banks and Wigmore are quite the trio of model patriots.

They couldn’t have been up to no good. And if you believe that, you’ll believe anything.

  1. "...Lega Nord...Putin's partners in Europe..."?

For which the verifiable evidence is what exactly?

  2. Anonymous. There is plenty of verifiable evidence because the Lega agreed a co-operation pact with Putin's United Russia in 2017. "Putin’s party signs deal with Italy’s far-right Lega Nord" https://www.ft.com/content/0d33d22c-0280-11e7-ace0-1ce02ef0def9. And if you don't believe the FT, how about RT on YouTube Russia: "Salvini signs cooperation agreement between Lega Nord and United Russia" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLnlFgl1o3Q.

Merely a pact of convenience because Lega Nord are against sanctions on Russia - as are many others in Europe - plus the absurd far right fake news propaganda* vomited in London and Washington. Which is what Salvini says in the YouTube video.

    *See the Financial Times bullshit.

If you want to see a REAL partnership in Europe, check out NATO lies and expansion into Eastern Europe despite promises otherwise to Gorbachev. All of which is a direct military threat against the Russian people and its elected government.

Putin is surely no saint. But he pales into insignificance in comparison with genocidal crimes against humanity committed by the USA, its lapdog Britain, and Europe. Do you want a list?

  4. Putin is dictator, a gangster and an assassin. If you're defending him, you are a morally reprehensible tool of the first water. Spack off with your whataboutery crap.

Given international politics and "The Great Game", so he may be, though I have yet to see any evidence of it. Which would be welcome in the interests of democratic law and moral responsibility.

I can, on the other hand, provide you with such evidence for every US president since WW2 (and some before), plus our very own Blair and Brown (and some others). Would you like to see it?
