Danczuk Sob Story BUSTED

The news that Rochdale’s still nominally Labour MP Simon Danczuk was going to use tomorrow’s papers to peddle a sob story about how everyone was being rotten to him and he should be let back into the party - rather than the expulsion he so richly deserves - was covered on Zelo Street earlier. It seems that the news has also reached the Northcliffe House bunker, because the Daily Mail has run a real party-spoiler this morning.
Spanker Si had been seen out and about with Tory Councillor Louise Dickens, whose late grandfather Geoffrey was for some years the MP for the constituency of Littleborough and Saddleworth, part of which has since become Danczuk’s patch as the result of boundary changes. What was not known is that he had been carrying on an affair with Ms Dickens, who, like so many others, got sick of his behaviour and dumped him.

As the Mail tells, “The Rochdale MP - who initially earned respect for his 2012 book exposing his Liberal predecessor Cyril Smith as a paedophile - tweeted a selfie with Miss Dickens at the town's mayoral ball in March”. Danczuk was, as Zelo Street regulars will know, not the one who exposed Smith - that happened at the end of the 1970s and culminated in an exposé by Private Eye magazine.

But do go on. “At the time, the father of four said they were 'just good friends'. But Miss Dickens, a member of Richmond council, North Yorkshire, has confessed they first had sex that night … She said that over the past two months, they had been 'dating', spending weekends together, and planning the book”. The book was to have been about Geoffrey Dickens, who had claimed to have uncovered a child sex abuse ring.

Whether Danczuk would have written any of it is doubtful: the book on Smith, Smile For The Camera, was written by his on-off sidekick Matt Baker, as well as having at least part of it invented (see HERE). But it is Ms Dickens’ comments which are damning.

Since before this year, I'd been asking him for help about cases people brought to me relating to child abuse - then we started dating … A few weeks ago I went down to London and stayed in his flat, and went to Parliament … We had started talking about the idea of doing a book on my grandfather … But it's become clear that he was mostly interested in me for the book … which he thought would generate good publicity for him like the book he did about Cyril Smith”. Selfish as ever. And it got worse.

A couple of weeks ago a party was held at the Lowry Hotel there … he said he wasn't going … The morning after the party I opened up Twitter only to find pictures of him at the party, with a woman he works with”. Another allegation about a “woman he works with”! And there’s more: “He was arrogant and vile in response, saying he didn't have to justify himself to me … I told him to get lost. He just said, 'Well, let's just not do sex any more then – but let's not throw the baby out with the bath water, we can still do the book’”.

Same old Simon Danczuk, right down to his excuse: “I had an evening out with Labour colleagues … Louise appears to have misunderstood”. No, Spanker, Louise has understood you all too well. And your Sunday sob story is now in ruins.

Simon Danczuk is not fit to be an MP. Expulsion from Labour can’t come soon enough.

  1. Arrogant and vile - that would seem to sum him up adequately.

So why don't these women cross to the other side of the road when they see him approaching.

  2. So Spanker has been having it away again in the London flat, the one he claimed the cash for for the two kids he never sees, and still claims for the two younger boys who don't actually live there routinely with him?

Of course the 'enhanced' claims enable him to have a two bed flat in London,
one bedroom more than he needs, and hey, it's all on us. That includes the sex.

  3. I think this calls for a bit of "crisis management" to repair Si's media reputation - where's bungler Baker?

    What a total sleaze.
