Top Six - September 11

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have places to go and people to see later. So there.
6 Guido Fawked - Byline Smear Busted The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog triumphantly told their readers that a complaint from Byline Media to press regulator IPSO had been rejected. But their “tinfoil hat” smear ignored reality. No change there, then.

5 Don’t Menshn Fabric (Thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch reached peak idiocy when she confused the enforced closure of a London nightclub … and Brexit.

4 Sun Tinfoil Hat Hypocrisy The Sun’s social media manager has let slip exactly how sincere Rupert Murdoch is about the Panel Inquiry into the Daniel Morgan murder.

3 Corbyn’s Sheffield Reverse The Labour leader addressed a rally of thousands of supporters in Sheffield. Not long afterwards, the party lost a council by-election in the city. The excuses for the loss followed soon afterwards.

2 Sun Merseyside Ban Tightens Group After many supermarkets stopped selling the Sun across Merseyside, transport group Merseytravel are looking to eradicate it from the entire local transport network.

1 Toby Young GCSE Flop EXPOSED The loathsome Tobes had been quiet about the first crop of GCSE results from his West London Free School. That may have been because the school did not do as well as might have been expected, given the hype.

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
