Top Six - May 22

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have gardening stuff to do later. So there.
6 Tory Expenses - SpAd Bus Busted A “Battle Bus” of special advisors set out from London every weekday during the last weeks of the election campaign. And it’s more than likely that every one of those weekdays saw the code of conduct being flagrantly breached.

5 Delingpole BBC Paranoia The self-styled “saviour of Western civilisation” was hired by the Murdoch Sun to attack the hated Beeb. It was no doubt a lucrative assignment for him. But, as so often before, he talked well, but lied badly.

4 Tory Expenses - Brighton Deception The expense return for Brighton Kemptown’s victorious Simon Kirby says nothing about hospitality and travel. That does not sit easily with all the offers of travel and hospitality made to activists.

3 Tory Expenses - The Damning Letters All those personalised letters sent out on behalf of candidates in marginal seats could bust their expense budgets - by thousands.

2 Labour Battle Bus Scandal Isn’t The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog claimed to have caught victorious candidate Rupa Huq bang to rights. But sadly, they had not. Another fine mess.

1 Sun’s BBC Religion Rant Busted The Murdoch goons took out their frustration at not seeing the hated Beeb dismembered out on the Corporation’s Head of Religion and Ethics. Not that it had anything to do with his being one of those Scary Muslims (tm), you understand. Perish the thought!

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
