Top Six - February 14

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have investigative stuff to do later. So there.
6 Toby Young Doctors Smear Busted The loathsome Tobes cheered Jeremy Hunt (the former Culture Secretary) imposing a new contract on hospital doctors - and then the whole thing fell apart. Well cursed, Tobes.
5 The Sun Now Backs UKIP The Murdoch doggies cited Angus Dalgleish, who talked of EU migrants “bleeding the NHS dry”. They called him a “Top Doc”. But Dalgleish has been a researcher since the 1980s, and he’s just a ranting Kipper.
4 Leon Brittan - Met Cleared, Press Bust The press was not so keen to publicise the report that cleared the Metropolitan Police over their investigation of allegations against the former Tory cabinet minister.
3 Sun’s Sick Dowler Hypocrisy Rupert Murdoch told the Dowler family he was sorry. After the intrusive coverage given by the Sun to the latest revelations on the story, one has to wonder just how sorry he really was.
2 Don’t Menshn Brexit The New York Times gave (thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch an Op-Ed column. This was mostly untrue - here’s why.
1 Jeremy Hunt Caught Fiddling The former Culture Secretary claimed that 20 CEOs of NHS Trusts backed his imposition of new contracts on hospital doctors. This began to unravel in short order - it seems the letter Hunt has  shown the press is not what those CEOs signed on to.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
