Top Six - January 3

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have shopping to do later. So there.
6 Simon Danczuk Abandons Flood Victims Rochdale’s nominally Labour MP went for an evening out at the curry house with his latest squeeze while many of his constituents faced the prospect of not having an evening out for many months to come.
5 Don’t Menshn You’re A Liar (Thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch has been calling “liar” on an awful lot of people recently. This despite her being the worst liar and smearer of them all.
4 Simon Danczuk - Time To Go Yet more revelations about Rochdale’s nominally Labour MP resulted in the party suspending him.
3 Broadcaster Calls Out Murdoch Al-Jazeera’s Listening Post strand shamed the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 by addressing the subject of press regulation, and Rupe’s fightback. The line-up of pundits includes Myself. Honestly.
2 Sun Blames Danczuk Attack On Corbyn The Sun had run a career-ending exclusive on Rochdale’s nominally Labour MP, but wanted its readers to know that, in the case of his being thrown out of that party, it would be Jeremy Corbyn wot did it.
1 Simon Danczuk Is Finished After he was revealed to have “sexted” a 17 year old, talking of being “horny” and proposing spanking, there was no way back. Not even for the slippery Danczuk.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
