Top Six - November 8

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have to be out and about later. So there.
6 Don’t Menshn Refugees Did you know that Syrians fleeing their bombed-out homes were “illegal migrants”? Now you know. More intolerant ranting from Louise Mensch.
5 Snoopers’ Charter - The Reality While some pundits claim we have nothing to fear, the kinds of measures being proposed in Theresa May’s new bill suggest we have everything to fear.
4 Simon Danczuk Banana Hypocrisy Rochdale’s nominally Labour MP painted his 2010 Lib Dem opponent as greedy with the MPs’ expenses régime. You know the rest.
3 Don’t Menshn Sue Nelson Those believing the obsessive attacks against the BBC’s Sue Nelson by (thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch would do well to remember all the howlers the latter has committed in the recent past. Because there all a lot.
2 New Danczuk Anti-Labour Smear EXPOSED Rochdale’s nominally Labour MP and his new partner tried to start a hare running, suggesting that the party’s North West youth conference had seen episodes of bullying. It was totally untrue.
1 So Farewell Then Tom Barry The presence behind BorisWatch died suddenly at the all-too-young age of 41. His telling truth to power, when too many stayed silent, was inspirational. All those who were able to call him their friend will miss him terribly.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
