Top Six - November 1

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have serious cleaning stuff to do later. So there.
6 Telegraph Portugal Claim Busted EU naysayer Ambrose Evans Pritchard claimed that parties were being barred from power in Portugal, and that Brussels was behind it. Wrong and wrong. Again.
5 Don’t Menshn Wasting Police Time (thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch made a complaint to Police about two Bradford solicitors. She made plenty of noise about it at the time. She’s making none now. Perhaps that’s because it was thrown out.
4 Simon Danczuk And That Book - 1 Rochdale’s nominally Labour MP has made great play from his book on his predecessor Cyril Smith. But just who had the idea to write it, and drove the project? It wasn’t Danczuk.
3 Sun MP Pay Rise Claim Busted Another “exclusive” from the odious flannelled fool Henry Cole, another steaming pile of bullpucky.
2 Toby Young Tax Credit Spin Fail The loathsome Tobes claimed that the Tories didn’t give the impression they would not cut tax credits. Not very well. As usual.
1 Sun’s Lee Rigby Shame Exposed The Murdoch faithful deliberately misquoted Corbyn spinner Seumas Milne so they could shamelessly exploit the soldier’s Mum. So now Lyn Rigby wants an apology from Milne for something he didn’t say.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
