Top Six - September 13

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have to be out and about later. So there.
6 Simon Danczuk’s Rochdale Fail The town’s nominally Labour MP was too busy swanning around in London to bother himself with a nasty bus crash in his constituency, that left several punters injured.
5 Murdoch War Demand Stinks If Creepy Uncle Rupe is so keen on kicking off another pointless conflict in the Middle East, he can open his wallet and pay for it himself.
4 Newton Dunn - Pants On Fire The Sun’s non-bullying political editor was caught being less than totally honest about a recent drone strike on two Britons in Syria - but loyal to the boss and his demands, of course.
3 Sun Drone Strike Bloodlust Busted The enthusiasm of all at the Super Soaraway Currant Bun failed to mask the inconvenient fact that the attacks on Anzac Day, V E Day, Armed Forces Day and V J Day, which were supposed to be the reason for the strike on two Britons in Syria, did not actually take place.
2 Sun Burnham Sting Unravels There was no “cash for access” scandal, and the Sun’s allegedly undercover reporter was rumbled. But that was not the point: this was Murdoch’s vindictive calling card in retaliation for Burnham’s Hillsborough support.
1 Super Soaraway No Bomb Plot This post from June is back at the top of the Top Six as we see that the bomb plot the paper claimed to have foiled never actually existed.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
