Top Six - August 23

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have to put the washing out to dry later. So there.
6 Don’t Menshn Your Twitter Idiocy (thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch got her story on Twitter search autocompletes totally wrong as she sought to bad-mouth anyone and everyone who supported Jeremy Corbyn. So she blamed the Guardian and threatened legal action against them.
5 Jewish Chronicle Corbyn Spin Busted Editor Stephen “Vicky” Pollard was at his yeah-but-no-but finest as he tried to advance the idea that most British Jews were fearful of a Corbyn premiership, to the extent of labelling fifty of them “Anti-Israel” for speaking up for the MP.
4 Fake Sheikh Shoots The Murdoch Fox Mazher Mahmood may have been protesting rather too much when he told the Tulisa Contostavlos trial that there was no significance in his pretending to represent 21st Century Fox as part of his “subterfuge”, honestly.
3 Simon Danczuk’s Gravy Train Rochdale’s nominally Labour MP has been scoring rather a lot of money for such deserving causes as going on ITV This Morning when Parliament was sitting, and getting a whopping £10K from the Murdoch empire for just five hours’ work. There’s a man of the people for you.
2 Don’t Menshn Songs Of Praise (thankfully) former Tory MP Louise Mensch took one look at the footage shot for the BBC’s Songs Of Praise from the refugee camp near Calais and pronounced it a fake, adding that those shown were not Ethiopian Christians, but Muslims.
1 Karen Danczuk - You’ve Been Hoaxed That £20,000 Valentine’s Day date in Dubai that Kazza thought she was going on was nothing of the sort - the bloke offering it was in reality a hoaxer from North Manchester.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
