Top Six - August 2

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have shopping to do later. So there.
6 Osborne And Murdoch - What’s The Deal? Details of a meeting apparently held between the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Creepy Uncle Rupe, just before the BBC was subjected to a swingeing budget cut, need to be made public.
5 Sun Cocaine Hypocrisy The Super Soaraway Currant Bun suggested that anyone using currently illegal drugs should not be in Parliament. That might impact on at least one of their current heroes.
4 Coke Sting Hack’s Osborne Question After the Sun’s outing of now former House of Lords deputy speaker Lord Sewel, there were questions to be asked of the hack who brought in the story - and others.
3 Fake Sheikh Back In Court Appeals against six of the convictions arising from stings undertaken by Mazher Mahmood are to be heard imminently. Zelo Street has had a sight of what will be submitted to the court.
2 Gove Puts His Foot In It The story put around by Sarah Vina, about her husband Michael “Oiky” Gove and a supposed NHS weekend shutdown, was not quite true. And there was a private sector sting in the tail, too.
1 Guido Fawked - Owen Jones Smear Hypocrisy The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines has no room to call “terror sympathiser” on anyone.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
