Top Six - April 19

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have boring research stuff to do later. So there.
6 Toby Young Panic Spin Unravels After the leaders debate that did not feature all the leaders, there had to be spin, and the loathsome Tobes span for all he was worth, telling anyone who would listen that the absent Tub Of Lard won it.
5 Guido Fawked - McCarthy Paranoia The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog told their readers that there were “hidden red sleepers” out there in the Third Sector, on the basis of one person not working in the Third Sector. Wibble.
4 Sarah Vine - Was It The Wine? Mrs Michael “Oiky” Gove forgot Mrs T’s comments about personal attacks as she sniped at Mil The Younger. She sent the Tweet just before the Midnight hour. Perhaps that was not the best time of the day for that sort of thing.
3 Miliband Will Face Down Murdoch Should a Labour Government be returned, then the promise made to the victims of press misbehaviour will be followed up. This was confirmed as the party’s manifesto was released.
2 Katie Hopkins - No, No, No, No, No Calling refugees “cockroaches”, making “norovirus” comparisons, calling them “feral”, and more in the same vein, looks ominously like racist incitement, and certainly not “just telling it like it is”.
1 Mail Insults Brain Tumour Campaign The Mail On Sunday was so keen to put the boot in on “Auguste” Balls that it failed to do some basic fact checking - which would have told them he was showing his support for the charity set up by the mother of Josh Wilson, who died recently. Being from the MoS means never having to say you’re sorry.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
