Top Six - January 18

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have to be out and about later. So there.
6 Dan Hodges Has Joined The Tories The suspicion was there after he embraced Lynton Crosby in the aftermath of the last London Mayoral election. His latest whingefest effectively confirms it.
5 Farage Vaults The Racism Barrier Nigel “Thirsty” Farage appeared on professional loudmouth Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News Channel (fair and balanced my arse). There, he made a number of totally untrue and blatantly racist comments.
4 Guido Fawked - Peter Jukes Attack Unravels The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog inexplicably went for Peter Jukes on the issue of accuracy. It never ends well when the Fawkes rabble calls accuracy on others.
3 Kelvin MacKenzie - Pants On Fire Kel called out others for demeaning women and gays. Yes, the same Kelvin McFilth who slagged off gays and edited a paper that ran Page 3.
2 Muslim No-Go Story Started Here The idea that the UK has areas that are off-limits to non-Muslims was peddled with gusto by Fox News Channel (fair and balanced my arse). But the story came from the rantings of Melanie “not just Barking but halfway to Upminster” Phillips, Doug Murray The K, and Andrew “transcription error” Gilligan.
1 Stephen Fry Gets Dacred For the combined sins of being gay, a celebrity, and being a signatory to the Hacked Off “Leveson Declaration”, Stephen Fry was attacked on the order of the legendarily foul mouthed Paul Dacre, defender of the family. The result was homophobic, but unintentionally hilarious.
And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
