So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging?
Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days,
counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have domestic stuff to do
later. So there.
6
Letts Kick Monty Python The surviving Pythons had all signed the Hacked
Off “Leveson Declaration”, so it was
no surprise that the odious Quentin Letts (let’s not) penned a hatchet job on
the reunion shows.
5
Guido Fawked – Always A Tory The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines now
has no credibility when it comes to political bias – he was at the Tory Party
midsummer fundraiser last year, where, generally, attendance is a minimum £400
a head touch.
4
These People Say Ed Is Weird Rather a lot of pundits have been calling
the Labour leader “weird” recently. Just how much room do some of them have to
call others “weird”? Probably not much.
3
Rolf Harris – Littlejohn Wrong Again The Daily Mail’s tedious and unfunny churnalist suggested that
investigations into historic claims of child abuse were a waste of time and
money. So that’s another wrong call, then.
2
Rolf Harris – Useless Press Blames Leveson The larger part of the
Fourth Estate suggested that the Leveson Inquiry would have stopped Harris
being brought to justice. The reality was that they’d had 40 years to nail him –
and done nothing.
1
Amanda Platell – Pass The Sick Bag She said he must be innocent, and
that it must be a terrible mistake. Then Rolf Harris got guilty. So she
suddenly became a victim, and claimed that he had groomed her. At the age of 40.
And that’s the end of
another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not
‘arf!
