Top Six – July 13

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have to fire up the washing machine later. So there.
6 Mail Discovers Paedophile 20 Months Late Peter Morrison’s past has appeared in the Daily Mail, well after the late Simon Hoggart recalled the downfall of Mrs T’s former confidante in the Guardian. But the Dacre hacks want their readers to know that Maggie knew nothing. Honestly.

5 Angelina Jolie And The Mail After George Clooney told the Mail to shove its apology for a mainly fictitious piece about his partner’s mother, Ms Jolie signalled she would be taking legal action against the paper. This is uncharted territory for Paul Dacre – slebs biting back.

4 Littlejohn – Rolf Harris Wrong Call The Daily Mail’s tedious and unfunny churnalist had suggested the Police were wasting their time, and our money, pursuing claims of historic child abuse. So did he own up? You jest.

3 Child Sex Abuse – Where Are The Journalists? Many of those who reported on the claims made by Geoffrey Dickens in the 1980s are still around. So why don’t they come forward and tell the Police what they know?

2 George Clooney Should Sue The Mail The actor passed severely adverse comment over the Mail’s mainly fictitious article about his partner’s mother. But he should do the only thing that the Dacre doggies understand – sue them.

1 Amanda Platell – Pass The Sick Bag Top post for the second week. She said he must be innocent, and that it must be a terrible mistake. Then Rolf Harris got guilty. So she suddenly became a victim, and claimed that he had groomed her. At the age of 40.

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
