5 UKIP – Poll Numbers Keep Falling The Kippers’ ratings showed signs of softening as polling day approached. Not that the party’s supporters would admit it.

4 UKIP – The Carnival Is Over The “Carnival of Colour” organised in Croydon by UKIP descended into farce in the face of protest, and the no-show by Nigel “Thirsty” Farage put the lid on it.

3 Farage Admits He Was Pissed Nigel “Thirsty” Farage excused his rant at Romanians during his car crash LBC interview by telling that he was “tired out”. Regular Private Eye readers will not need too much prompting to decode that.

2 Tories Lose Favourite Council Not even Labour had expected to take the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham in last Thursday’s elections. But there were very good reasons for what happened.

1 Guido Fawked – Hoaxed By Phony BBC Tweeter The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog so wanted to see BBC staffers saying off-colour and partisan things on Twitter. So it was inevitable that they would overreach themselves. Another fine mess.
