So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have investigation stuff to do later. So there.

6 Katie Hopkins’ First Amendment The loathsome Toby Young claimed that professional motormouth Katie Hopkins was being censored by a rotten lefty mob. This was another crock of crap.

5 Christopher Booker – Trousers Still Alight There was no apology for the dishonest and misleading narrative over the Italian woman whose baby was delivered by Caesarean Section and taken into care. Instead, Booker claimed the judgment which exposed his lies vindicated him. Can you smell burning?

4 Katie Hopkins Foodbank Idiocy Social supermarkets selling to the less well off was clearly an affront to Ms Hopkins, who made a number of claims which veered across the porkie line.

3 Gove Polecats Abuse Critics Again The BBC did a piece on a report examining Free Schools. This did not meet with the approval of either the loathsome Toby Young, or the @toryeducation Twitter feed. So there had to be a welter of abuse in response, while ignoring the shortcomings of these organisations.

2 GCHQ – Guardian Story Breaks Out There had been little appetite among the rest of the Fourth Estate to rally to the aid of the deeply subversive Guardian, until Kevin McGuire at the Mirror demonstrated that he had had enough, and made the obvious statement that the overreaching surveillance was out of order.

1 Super Soaraway Twitter Storm The Sun’s non-bullying political editor Tom Newton Dunn made a most unfortunate comment about Labour MP Stella Creasy. He courted disaster, and pulled in style. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bloke.
