Top Six – September 22

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I have to go out later. So there.
6 Delingpole Confirms He’s A Loser After he pretended to be a candidate in the Corby by-election, James “saviour of Western civilisation” declared victory in the war on renewable energy. But now he admits it was all a dismal failure, and that his Tory heroes have been beaten by Ed Davey.

5 Gilligan On HS2 – Pants On Fire Andrew “Transcription Error” Gilligan talked yet more rubbish on the HS2 project. Calling him out was real fish in a barrel stuff. As usual.

4 Stephen Fry And Telegraph Creeps Actor and author Stephen Fry uses his Twitter following to help good causes. For this, a convocation of Telegraph nonentities went after him. Keeps them off the streets, I suppose.

3 Miranda – Don’t Menshn The Law Another appearance in the Top Six for this post from last month, observing the strangely authoritarian and downright ignorant behaviour of Louise Mensch on the Miranda arrest.

2 Gove Polecats’ Giveaway Moment The @toryeducation Twitter feed, believed to be the domain of Michael “Oiky” Gove’s special advisors Dominic Cummings and Henry de Zoete, went after former minister Tim Loughton, and rather too much on cue.

1 Vince Did It, And It’s Bad The full spite of an attack from the Daily Mail was last week directed at Business Secretary Vince Cable by a retinue of pundits who are all of the most upstanding character. OK, I made the last bit up.

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
