So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, I’ve more of that domestic stuff to do. So there.

6 Murdoch Is Served (92) Friday was Rupe Court Day as several of Murdoch’s faithful retainers fetched up at the Old Bailey, along with four public servants who all pleaded guilty. That appeared to put one of Rupe’s gang in a very difficult position.

5 TPA – Ashamed Of Their Own Name Rory Meakin, head of tax at the so-called Taxpayers’ Alliance, was trolling every pub, club and bar he could find on Twitter to push their campaign against increases in beer duty. But he had taken the TPA’s name out of his Twitter bio and the campaign website didn’t mention it unless you scrolled all the way to the bottom. Why so bashful?

4 Guido Fawked – Sheer Mental Cruelty The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines and his rabble at the Guido Fawkes blog found a new Parliamentary target last week – an MP who suffers from depression and who attempted suicide back in 2010. Stay classy, Fawkes folks.

3 Brand Boris In Catford Car Crash London’s part-time Mayor journeyed to Catford for a People’s Question Time event and came off second best as he was confronted by a number of full-time voters less than totally enamoured of his record.

2 Benefit Tourism – Or Maybe Not All those dastardly foreigners were going to come here and claim benefit. Or, when the rules were consulted, they weren’t.

1 The Curse Of Zelo Strikes Not long after he directed one of his unpaid gofers to pen a hatchet job on this blog, the odious Milo Yiannopoulos announced the end of his group blog the Kernel Mag, which is to close owing at least £50,000. This vapid creep is now playing the victim. Pass the sick bag.
