Top Six – February 3

So what’s hot, and what’s not, in the past week’s blogging? Here are the six most popular posts on Zelo Street for the past seven days, counting down in reverse order, because, well, there’s domestic stuff to do later. So there.

6 Guido Fawked – Another In The Eye The perpetually thirsty Paul Staines ordered his teaboy Alex Wickham to attack Private Eye for allegedly nicking the Fawkes blog’s content. Not like the Fawkes blog nicking the title style of Media Guido from the Eye’s Street Of Shame feature, of course. Another fine mess.

5 Toby Young Loses The Plot The loathsome pundit tried to blame Suzanne Moore for the misfortune of his pal James “saviour of Western civilisation” Delingpole, while managing not to notice that it was Del Boy that brought it on himself.

4 Reluctant Racists – Or Maybe Not The Telegraph ran a piece about the population make-up of Acton Vale, in west London. What they didn’t tell was that the author was from a magazine with an unequivocally racist heritage.

3 Gilligan Speaks With Forked Tongue When he was offered his two day a week, £38,000 a year taxpayer funded sinecure by London’s occasional Mayor Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, Andrew “transcription error” Gilligan gave various assurances about what he would write about it future. He does not appear to be sticking to the spirit of those assurances.

2 Delingpole Bullies The Disabled Del Boy accused disabled people of vicious bullying, and then viciously bullied them. Nobody who mattered was taken in.

1 Delingpole Scrapes The Misogyny Barrel Del Boy got himself into serious trouble for a viciously unpleasant Twitter attack on Suzanne Moore in defence of his pal Toby Young, so serious that he actually apologised. Sort of.

And that’s the end of another blogtastic week, blog pickers. Not ‘arf!
