As Bad As Crack?

David Nutt secured some notoriety recently when he was removed as a Government scientific advisor by Alan Johnson – it was a few months ago – over the classification of what are at present illegal drugs. He’s now published a paper in the Lancet which has reopened the debate – and not just in the UK.

Nutt’s intervention has made the papers here in Spain: Público has the story HERE. It’s a debate which such publicity is slowly opening up, but with much of the Fourth Estate – well, that part in the UK – wanting to shout down any attempt to have that debate, we may be some time in getting it.

Meanwhile, think on before finishing that bottle. Or, if it’s not so strong, starting another.
