What A Come Down

On the way over to Asda this afternoon, a voice called out to me. Perhaps this was a sign that the election campaign had at last dared show its face? Sadly, it was not: the caller told that he had “An important message” for me, and that message was from a well known group on the fringes of organised religion.

That gives you the level of campaigning in the seat that two years ago saw so much activity during the by-election. In that time, we’ve gone from saturation coverage to a level so low that peddlers of religion are making a greater impact.

Did I stop and humour the caller? Alas, no: Smart Price potatoes were a greater draw.
