How then was it that when Clive Myrie said that Tyson Fury "needs to stop behaving like a dick" was he not reprimanded? Surely that too was an example of a BBC News employee expressing a personal opinion?

In reality, what this is truly about is the BBC cannot condone one of their employees saying anything negative about the right-wing establishment they are repeatedly cosying up to. Johnson, Trump, Farage....they all get free passes.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14569732807130090838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4433144336299288135.post-47817465137745134712019-09-26T13:18:33.245+01:002019-09-26T13:18:33.245+01:00Maybe the BBC should change its "guidelines&q...Maybe the BBC should change its "guidelines".

They won't of course. Not while it's controlled by increasingly right wing governors, managers, editors, presenters and journalists. Do we really need to list them yet again?

This episode is but one symptom of an organisation long gone to cowardice and propaganda. Winston Smiths all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
