I see no right to reply, no open dialogue, no invited comments, no complaints procedure or invitation to debate / challenge or discuss views. It's not obvious where to complain if there are inaccuracies, corrections required or further points to be raised.

For a website that scorns safe spaces, it is a very safe space for people to air certain types of view without challenge.

I don't always agree with the people they dismissively refer to as SJWs, but by goodness, SJWs are a refreshing movement who at least try to be inclusive and considerate.

As for that skewed logic about Boris and his wife, I am married to a Jew but I don't believe this smugly exempts me from examining any prejudices I may, however unintentionally hold.hattynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4433144336299288135.post-41096817304791332602016-04-26T00:09:34.784+01:002016-04-26T00:09:34.784+01:00Well when dealing with Europe, can the term :racis...Well when dealing with Europe, can the term :racist' still be used? No. We are all Europeans as a collective.
Neither can we call any detriment towards Muslims racist or any religion for that matter.

We, Homo sapiens, are all known collectively as 'The Human Race'.

So, with that, I ask, Does the term 'Racist' as some know it actually exist? And highly insulting from someone seeking high office - but no surprise.

Most public aspects of the Brexit campaigns are racist at heart, and will continue to be until they manage to come up with any serious facts and figures.

Unfortunately all a reflection of how deeply racist our society is. Just look at the parade of anti-Obama abuse on Mensch's site.

And she's presumably proud of all this. We cannot say, ‘We will have African standards in Africa, Asian standards in Asia and perhaps British standards here at home.’ We have not that choice to make. We must be consistent with ourselves everywhere. All Government, all influence of man upon man, rests upon opinion. What we can do in Africa, where we still govern and where we no longer govern, depends upon the opinion which is entertained of the way in which this country acts and the way in which Englishmen act. We cannot, we dare not, in Africa of all places, fall below our own highest standards in the acceptance of responsibility.”

Tribune of left-wing subversion and Marxist revolutionary that he, er, will this do.asquithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14246701347539264295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4433144336299288135.post-30429581162374888012016-04-25T19:42:18.986+01:002016-04-25T19:42:18.986+01:00Nobody has to "...cast Johnson in a bad light...Nobody has to "...cast Johnson in a bad light.”

He does that every time he opens his disgusting, lying racist mouth.

It is our eternal shame in this country that such people get anywhere near power.

It is entirely possible the fellow could end up leader of the tories and even as prime minister. Racism isn't a one size fits all thing, where a racist person is racist about all other races. It's a human trait, and is as malleable and variable as anything else. There are black people who are racist against Asians. There's racism between Caribbeans and Africans, between Japanese and Chinese, between Indians and Pakistanis. Someone might be fine with black people, but have a real issue with Jews. Having a "part-Indian" wife (and, really, we should take a moment to unpack the clumsy language there) is not a permanent and irrefutable NOT RACIST card.

And speaking of race cards, it was Boris himself who brought Obama's race into this debate, and now his defenders are tiresomely leaping to the "lefties playing the race card" to get him out of it. You can't have it both ways. If Boris honestly believes that having Kenyan blood makes you hate Winston Churchill, and therefore England, he's being if not outright racist then certainly barking mad in a racist way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
