Paul Nuttall Hillsborough Lies BUSTED

Things are clearly not going too well for UKIP’s new leader Paul Nuttall in his campaign to win the Stoke on Trent Central by-election: the “Bad Bootle Meff” has been reduced to running a Labour-bashing poster campaign claiming erroneously that the Kippers were responsible for the Leave vote in the EU referendum last year. It is not known what all the Tory and Labour MPs who backed Vote Leave will think of that.
An' then I pulled the f***in' trigger, but it didn't extinguish me burning keks

The poster blitz also erroneously claims that Labour are trying to keep Britain in the EU, which, given Jeremy Corbyn led a vote to back the Government in triggering Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, is in the Ron Hopeful category. And now has come yet worse news for the Kippers, after Nuttall’s claims about the Hillsborough stadium disaster, on which he was previously prepared to stand firm, have begun to unravel.

Under the headline “Ukip leader admits claim he lost close friends at Hillsborough was false”, the Guardian has reportedIn a post in 2012 about attempts to block publication of files relating to the disaster, Nuttall wrote: ‘Without them being made public we will never get to the bottom of that appalling tragedy when 96 Liverpool fans including close personal friends of mine lost their lives’”. But he had an admission to make.
In an interview with Liverpool’s Radio City News on Tuesday, however, Nuttall denied making the claim … But when the presenter, Dave Easson, who was at Hillsborough on the day of the disaster, showed him the evidence that the claim had been made on his website, Nuttall replied: ‘I haven’t lost a close, personal friend. I’ve lost someone who I know’”. And guess where the claim came from (allegedly)?

Nuttall then suggested that he was not responsible for the statement, saying: ‘I’m sorry about that, but that is something … I haven’t put that out. That is wrong’”. Just like the claims that he played football for Tranmere Rovers (he didn’t), and suggesting that he had completed a Ph.D (he hadn’t), it seems A Big Boy Did It And Ran Away.

The Guardian then notes that Nuttall is sticking by his claim to have been at the ill-fated FA Cup semi-final venue in April 1989, and that “On Tuesday, Nuttall told the radio show he had been at Hillsborough and described claims to the contrary as cruel. ‘I was there on that day. I have witnesses, people who will stand up in court and back me up 100%’”.
But now that yet another of his claims has been exposed as a pack of lies, and has been excused as someone else’s doing - rather than Nuttall take responsibility for the falsehood himself - the questions will keep on coming back, especially, as the Guardian has also told, “The Hillsborough Families Support Group has also expressed surprise that Nuttall, an MEP for the last eight years, had never been in touch to offer his support”. Also, he had not confirmed his experiences in a statement to the Police.

Paul Nuttall has been exposed as a liar, a fraud, a mountebank, a charlatan, a shameless opportunist, an empty political vessel, a slippery expense-troughing rabble-rousing and victimhood-playing coward, an unprincipled bigot. And he’s still a Bad Bootle Meff.

Meanwhile it would appear that independent candidate Barbara Fielding is having her collar felt by Mr Plod over inciting racial hatred.

He's (now) claiming he lost someone he knew - but he won't name them, even though all 96 names are public. Still a lot of explaing to do.

Like Farage, Nuttall is "a strong leader."

Apparently, the Labour Party could do with "a strong leader."

Gerrin der, Paul lad. You and John Mann'd make a great double act.

Wouldn't recommend him going back to Anfield any time soon.

It seems he really thought he could walk in, play the working class card and win. Extraordinary!
